Carol DeBolt Eikenbery is a native of Ohio and now lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  She is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Art and Design.  In 2002 she was selected as a signature member of both the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society.  She is also a member of the Virginia Watercolor Society, the Baltimore Watercolor Society. the Chesapeake Bay Watercolorists and the Potomac Valley Watercolorists.

Much of her work, including several national and regional prizewinners are mixed media and abstract creations.  She also does impressionistic watercolors and more realistic land and seascapes based on photographs taken on trips to Europe and the Caribbean.

Her major prizes include the Silver Medal of Honor at the 1999 American Watercolor Society's 132nd International Exhibit, the Gold Medal at the Baltimore Watercolor Society's 2000 Mid-Atlantic Exhibition and Best-in-Show in the 2006 Virginia Watercolor Society's Annual Exhibition.
