My Painting

"Each of my paintings is about my own personal journey through the creative process. I try to let my intuition of inner self respond when I paint. I begin with an idea, then I let the painting lead the way. Throwing paint, scraping, collaging, masking, using new tools or paints, are just a few of the methods I employ in developing a piece of artwork. After all, it is the end result that counts, not how you get there.

For me, the excitement of trying to express a mood or emotion is the joy of painting. I think my artwork reflects this energy and exploratory approach. Other artist's work will always astound me, but I can't do theirs. I have to do mine. I like my job."
